Covent Garden Acoustic Sessions
Produced by Raph Hurwitz

|
Iris Theatre produces the first in its Covent Garden Acoustic Sessions on Sunday 15th at St Paul's Church, Covent Garden (The Actors' Church). Get tickets here.
St. Paul's will open it's doors to some of London's finest songwriting talent. This will be a perfect way to spend a chilly sunday evening with us in a beautiful intimate setting.
Featuring:
Sam Green - Sam is an inventive Lapslide Guitarist/Singer Songwriter from Devon. His style is directly influenced by modern Roots artists such as The John Butler Trio and Zavier Rudd as well as 70's Folk Music. Sam has spent the last year playing UK Festivals, opening for well established bands, Yes Sir Boss and Mama's Gun to name a couple; and has recently become a resident artist at Proud Camden.
Brooke Sharkey - Signed to Lil' Bee records Brooke has busked her way around Europe and beyond for the last 5 years; she has not gone unnoticed. The well known Katherine Hamnett spotted Brooke at Columbia Road flower market and wrote ‘Brooke has an incredible voice, control and grace. ’ (The Observer). Reviewers have described her as 'the perfect balance between fiery female singer and delicate, angelic songstress'.
Folky Miki & Phil A - This two piece folk infusion combines infectious rhythms, songwriting talent, and wonderful string playing. Don't miss out on seeing this fantastic duo. Think Paul Simon, blended with Fleet Foxes.
Audiogold - Signed to JAMC Records this four piece band creates lush harmonies, melodies, and catchy songs. For Covent Garden they will be featuring a string section for a rare acoustic set. 'Audiogold are a refreshing change, a bright beacon on the horizon...Hymn 171 is a cross between The Sundays, Starsailor and Jeff Buckley; and the mighty Tea Lights has that same sonic landscape of A Northern Soul era The Verve.'
Tickets are £5 on the door.
